Use the right citation style
If you have found plagiarism in your citations and references, then check whether you have used the right professional style to mention them. For example, if you are asked to follow the APA style, then make sure that every citation and reference is detailed according to the rules and standards of this style. It is also important to be consistent with your specific style. Use it throughout the document.
Quote and credit
Many times, you would notice that your quotations from some sources are being shown in the plagiarised content. When this happens, ensure to use quotation marks around the copied content. Otherwise, it is better if you can avoid using exact quotes. However, do no forget to give credit to the source or author if it makes relevance to quote their work. Again, do this in the right style at appropriate places within your text.
Paraphrase or rewrite content
Go through all the content that shows plagiarism. Pick up these portions in a separate file and rework on this content. You may paraphrase the detected text or may also choose to rewrite it all. We would suggest you to get rid of this content. Replace it with the content written in your own language. This removes any chance of detecting plagiarism again.
